Problem Statement

 

In Pakistan, Air pollution is a serious problem both in rural and urban areas. Unfortunately, the problem has yet to be adjudicated, markedly due to lack of awareness on all levels (public and government). We aim to build a wirelessly enabled sensor based circuitry which will collect the stats about pollutants in the air (Carbon monoxide in particular). The sensed data will be sent to a centralized repository (web server) and a web portal will be designed to present the statistical data sent by the device on a dashboard. Furthermore, the statistics will be used to propagate awareness about air pollution and thereby enforcing Government/concerned authorities to take initiatives.
